New CRC Catalyst guide launched at Collaborate Innovate 2026

The Rozetta Institute is pleased to announce the launch of CRC Catalyst: How businesses get value from CRCs at the Collaborate Innovate 2026 conference on 20 May 2026.

Developed in partnership with Cooperative Research Australia (CRA), the free guide has been created to help businesses better understand Australia’s Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) Program and the practical value that collaborative, industry-led research partnerships can deliver.

Drawing on insights from organisations that have participated in CRCs and CRC Projects (CRC-Ps), the guide explores how businesses can access commercialisable IP, build strategic partnerships, fast-track innovation, connect with talent, and strengthen long-term capability through collaboration.

For more than 35 years, CRCs have supported nationally significant innovation across sectors including advanced manufacturing, agriculture, digital technology, health, energy and critical industries.

Rozetta Institute CEO Dr Paul Dalby said CRCs remain one of Australia’s most important mechanisms for long-term industry collaboration and innovation.

“CRCs are an incredibly powerful mechanism. For industry, they enable groups of partners to come together and solve major challenges that no individual organisation can address alone,” Dr Dalby said.

Developed collaboratively by CRA and Rozetta, the guide is intended as a practical resource for organisations exploring new ventures, capability development and accelerated pathways to commercialisation.

We thank everyone who contributed insights and experiences to the guide, and acknowledge the important role CRCs continue to play in strengthening Australia’s innovation ecosystem.
